I have done some reverse engineering and this is a work in progress ... the discoveries are at https://github.com/jpires71/Deepa…/main/README.md

Due to my collaboration with ABRP and CarScanner ... we are able to get good integrations, but in a near future I believe those will improve based on their work and of the information that I shared with them.

When I bought my car ABRP and CarScanner weren't able to have a real integration with the car. Then I bought a two OBDC2 (Vgate Pro 2S and another one from China) and I created the python code needed to connect to the car. Collecting data and using AI to help me through do the improvements and analysis. In that way, I am able to get info from the car like SOH, EFC, etc.

I reported to Chagan that until version 3.0.2 the SOH was wrong. Then in the version 3.0.3 they changed it for SOCE.

If anyone wants to learn, know more or share ideas and knowledge feel free to reach me out.

Hi, thanks a lot for your effort with Car Scanner. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get the SOH value entered. Could you maybe create a profile? I also think that the SOH value is wrong. After 1,400 km, I've alllready lost 5%. In the Mazda/ 6e forum, a few people are writing that since the last update, they lose about 1% SOH after every 1,000 km. Greetings to my favorite country!

In Germany we still have 3.02

Well that will be easier ...

    1. Open CarScanner

    2. Click on connect in the app

    3. After connection done (remember you need a compatible obd2 device connected in the car), go to Settings - Sensors - User created (custom sensors) - Create a new one with the this config ...

    Name: [BMS] SOH

    Short name: bms_soh

    Command: 22F264

    Header: 7A1

    Formula: 100-A/68

    Minimum: 0

    MAximum: 100

    Units: %

    ....

    4. Add this sensor to a dashboard

Example of mine: Der Inhalt kann nicht angezeigt werden, da Sie keine Berechtigung haben, diesen Inhalt zu sehen.

Thank you. I'm currently on the road and won't be back home until Wednesday. Your profile looks great. On Wednesday, I'll post mine.

Hi! It worked out. SOH is 98.57% after 2,350 km. The display in the car shows 95%, which can't be right. Since the car has a gross capacity of 68.8 kWh and a net capacity of 68 kWh, the 98.57% makes sense. Thank you so much. You obviously have a lot of features unlocked on yours. On mine, it's significantly less.

I've tested several times now to see if there's any kind of battery preconditioning, but no matter what I do, nothing happens at all. It doesn't matter if you enter the charging station into the sat-nav or try anything else. Changan definitely needs to address this for the winter, especially since many people can't charge at home.

I once wrote to the UK support team, and they actually replied very quickly. That was about being able to switch into Neutral (N) while driving to clear flash rust off the brakes. Maybe you could give them a try. The response came back really fast.

    Hi,

From what I tested it seems Changan hasa different approach about it.

They kept the battery in a stable temperature interval all the time. Therefore, the precondition don't make sense and isn't needed. To be able to do that a good engineering and architecture of the system must be in place.

What I have seen? Temperature of the battery goes from 25 to 38 ºC. When the vehicle is being used it goes from 30 to 38 ºC. When charging in a DC public charge I saw the charging curve being followed. [Blockierte Grafik: https://evkx.net/models/deepal/s05/s05_rwd/chargingcurve/chart/?battery=0&theme=dark]

Which means all the times I charged in a DC the charging rate is aligned with that curve.

I have more parameters for CarScanner that I can share with you ... I just need to export the dashboard, the sensors customized by me and then you can import them on the app.

I’m mainly concerned about the winter, because I can’t charge at home and the Supercharger is only 4 km away—especially in the morning when I drive to work. You’re right, it really holds its temperature very well. I noticed that during the 1,350 km trip I just did. I always had a great charging curve. Other cars cool their batteries down much faster. The S05 handles that really well. Yesterday, I plugged it in with a battery temperature of 18 °C, and it went up by one degree every minute.

Which data points can you recommend besides the standard ones like CellDelta and battery temperature? I’m using CarScanner for the first time in combination with A Better Routeplanner (calibrating consumption for one month).

Since I like being in Portugal (Algarve, Lisbon/Sintra) and want to drive there next year in March, I have a question. Is it true that you can now charge cheaply at GALP using a credit card? I do have the Tesla subscription, but Galp is also very well represented in Portugal and I would like to have an alternative.

If you use CarScanner and at the end export the data to a csv will be enough for analysis. As long as you have all the parameter's to record in the dashboard.

I am using too CarScanner and ABRP this is the best combination in my opinion.

To do road trips in Europe I suggest to do two subscriptions: Ionity & Tesla during that time, then you cancel them. After 2 or 3 charges you start getting provit of it. Ionity network is good in Portugal but the payments aren't as easier as in the rest if Europe ... let's say ... business opportunists. Likewise, you don't need to care about best prices and so on... the best one's are from Tesla with subscription.

Thank you so much for your support/help. You are a real asset to this forum.

A Better Routeplanner is really good. I just need to figure out how to see on the sat nav what else is at the HPC charger (McDonald's, Burger King for coffee)—I haven't worked that out yet. It also works well with the main navigation system, I have to say, but somehow I feel like not all HPC chargers from my favorites are included there. With A Better Routeplanner, you can see how far the charging point is from the exit, which is quite important.
